History of MANIT  Bhopal

As the name of the college clearly suggests it was named after the great educationist and Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The campus of MANIT stretches over 2.6 kilometre² and is located in the heart of Bhopal. It comprises of hostels for outstation students, residential quarters for the staff and academic building for studies. Inside the campus there is a library, a central computing facility, an auditorium and a sports complex too for students. The campus is easily reachable with airport 11 kilometres and railway station just 9 kilometres away. The campus is situated on a plateau and all amenities are available 24/7 in MANIT, Bhopal.

The campus provides facilities like: internet connectivity, canteen, dispensary, security, water and electricity supply round the clock. For girls and boys there are separate hostels. For boys, hostels have been allotted according to the year they are studying in. A care taker, an assistant warden and a warden have been assigned duties in each hostel.
