Tata launched its car Indica way back and instantly became popular. Tata sold many units of it but many users complained of a weak engine in the long run so recently with a new improved and refined engine the company launched Tata Indica EV2. As soon as it was launched it created lot of positive talks and people did see the good change in the engine. This time around Tata has launched this car with better colour options too.

Priceindia [dot] in opines that the Tata Indica EV2 is new fuel efficient small car with improved Common rail diesel engine, new Interior and stereo system with USB port at attractive price in India. It has got some great features such as latest CR4 diesel engine with 32 per cent more power and better pickup, elegant shadow beige colour interior, auto drive assist, wooden finish centre console with Bluetooth enabled music system, sporty alloy wheels, power windows, keyless entry and much more. The mileage of Tata Indica EV2 is 25 kilometres per litre as per ARAI.
Cartradeindia [dot] com states that the Indica eV2 features the same capacity engine as the earlier Indica variants but with improved technology. The petrol Indica eV2 comes with an engine of 1193cc/4 cylinder, and has a peak power output of 65.3PS @ 5000rpm, and a peak torque of 99.8 nm @ 2700 rpm. The petrol Indica eV2 has a 5 speed manual gearbox, and tubeless tyres with 150/80 R13 rating. The Indica eV2 Diesel version comes with refined CR4 engine with 4 cylinders and a 1396cc capacity. This variant has a power output of 70PS@4000 rpm, and peak torque of 140 nm @1800 to 3000 rpm. The diesel Indica eV2 comes with Radial tyres with rating 165/65 R13. It has a claimed mileage of 25KMPL.
Autoplugged [dot] com says that the Tata Indica EV2 is powered with the CR4 engine, which is capable of producing 76PS of power at 4000Rpm and 140Nm of torque at 1800-3000Rpm. The new CR4 engine fitted in the car breaks new ground for Tata in terms of engine performance and efficiency.
The Indica eV2 has several new features such as ‘Clutch-to-start,’ Auto-drive assist, instrument cluster with tachometer, 60:40 flip seats and R14 alloy wheels. The car will be available in 4 trims: L, LE, LS and LX. That’s not all; the list also includes new 14 inch alloy wheels, 60:40 split rear seats, Bluetooth compatible audio system, USB and Aux ports. As per ARAI test results, the Tata Indica eV2 delivers a mileage of 25 km/litre, making it the most fuel-efficient car in India. In fact the ‘e’ in the name stands for economy. In the brochure, Tata Motors says that the Indica eV2 is the answer to rising fuel prices.

The Tata Indica EV2 is definitely a much better and improvised version of the earlier launched Tata Indica. It has got better features, dynamics, interiors, body design, colour options and most importantly mileage. Talking of mileage, the Tata Indica EV2 gives a mileage of around 18 to 22 kilometres per litre.
