Tata Indicom has an elaborate customer care mechanism in place, which is very comprehensive & quite user friendly in terms of overall structure.

Tata Indicom Customer Care Escalation Hierarchy

As they say the quality of Service is determined by the leadership of the organization, Tata Indicom seems to live up to this adage. Tata Indicom has Telephone Equipment / Mobile Equipment Service Centers based on the manufacturer’s brand, and they are spread across all Tata Indicom’s Circles of operation. Tata Indicom Call Centers

Tata Indicom has call centers for each of their service, dedicated exclusively for Wireless Phones, Mobile Phones, Internet Products etc and these call centers are available in each of their circle. The consumer has to visit the customer care webpage as mentioned above, and select his area to get this number and contact them, for whatever purpose one is in need of.

One can also choose to fill up a form either for a complaint or for providing suggestions for improvement, or even if you want to complement them for any of the uniqueness the user has found in Tata Indicom products / Services.

Tata Indicom Queries & Requests

This option can be accessed by logging your complaint at your local Customer Service Centre (121) from any Tata Indicom post-paid phone, (12524) from a Tata Indicom prepaid phone, (1281) for Public Telephony Booth.
You can also utilize this service by sending a blank SMS to 121. The servers would reply back with all the options connected to queries and requests are the Keywords for the same. You can choose the Key Word that is matching to your requirement, and send it as an SMS to get a particular service.

You can visit their customer care webpage, and select the option of Online Complaints Option, and fill the form, which will be displayed.

Tata Indicom Complaints Call Center

Complaints can be registered by logging your complaint at your local Customer Service Centre (121) from any Tata Indicom post-paid phone, (12524) from a Tata Indicom prepaid phone, (1281) for Public Telephony Booth.

Tata Indicom Nodal Authority

The Nodal Officer is a very important and highly responsible position and the person who holds this position in each circle is monitored by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, or in Short form TRAI. If you as a user are dissatisfied with any of the above mentioned complaint redressal mechanism, you can find the contact of the Nodal Officer of your Circle (That is the Area within which you use Tata Indicom Product or Service) and escalate the complaint to this authority. As per TRAI’s Quality Of Service (QOS) Manual, Nodal Officer is expected to resolve your complaint / dispute within a time bound manner. If your problem is of much complex, much larger and very serious in nature then you have some more options, which are provided underneath. Customers can send SMS “HELPLINE” to 121 (Postpaid) and 12524 (Prepaid) to get the respective Circle Customer care and Nodal officer details.

Tata Indicom Appellate Authority

Office of the Appellate Authority for Tata Teleservices Limited and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (Constituted under the provisions of the Telecom Consumers Protection and Redressal of Grievances Regulations, 2007 (3 of 2007). There is a due procedure which needs to be followed to approach this authority. First you will have to download a form called “TRAI Format For Consumer Protection & Redressal Form” from the Tata Indicom Customer Care webpage. Fill it in its entirety and follow the given procedure.

Procedure for making appeals before the Appellate Authority

  • Appeal must be in the format prescribed in the regulation (in duplicate)
  • Every appeal must be filed within 3 Months from the date of decision of the Nodal Officer.
  • All appeals are generally disposed of within 3 Months from the date of filing of appeal.
  • Appeals only against the decision of the Nodal Officer are maintainable before the Appellate Authority, no other appeal / direct complaint shall be entertained.
  • For detailed procedure on disposal of appeals by Appellate Authority please refer the TRAI Regulation on Consumer Protection and Redressal for Grievances (3 of 2007)
